With camper enrollments pouring in and Spring weather finally gracing us with it’s presence (hopefully for good!), it’s awesome to think that Everwood’s first day of Camp is just over 3 months away!!!
Now is the time to start preparing yourself and your camper for Camp! We have many helpful resources posted on our website, such as our FAQ’s, absences, late arrivals, early dismissals and transportation information, our daily activities sample calendar, and so much more! Please take the time to visit our website and familiarize yourself with our session weeks and dates, family financials, and of course, share our VIRTUAL TOUR with your camper to see the property from the comfort of your own home, or come to one of our Open Houses and tour it in person!
For the first time last year, we began our Everwood 101 Campaign, a series of weekly emails sent to all of our enrolled Camp families focusing on one topic each: schedules, what to bring, labeling, transportation, bus information, etc. We decided that this was such a great help last year that all of our 2015 enrolled families will be starting to see those shortly, so make sure to check your emails! These 101’s are a great way to familiarize yourself with Everwood’s policies and procedures and to help prepare your camper for Camp!
We have also added and updated our list of activities to include what is new for 2015!! We are looking forward to getting all of our A-W-E-S-O-M-E activities underway, especially camper favorites such as outdoor cooking, war canoes, archery, our amazing ropes course, and of course WIBIT! We are also super excited for campers to try out all of our NEW activities, such as sport stacking, wheel world, lacrosse, woodworking, and the highly anticipated PADDLE BOARDING elective! We are so excited to be able to add these great activities to our programming this year!
Needless to say, IT’S ALMOST TIME FOR CAMP!
It’s never too early to start packing those backpacks, getting supplies together, and getting PSYCHED for June 29th!
