What is a Tooth Cup you ask? No… it has nothing to do with Efferdent, or the Tooth Fairy, or some kind of strange protective sporting gear. It’s actually an endangered plant that was discovered on the shores and in the woods surrounding Everwood Day Camp. As we work to restore our beach to its natural beauty, we discovered the Tooth Cup. Working closely with the Sharon Conservation Commission, we are creating a healthy environment for the Tooth Cup to grow and flourish.
And just like that, we have now become the honorary “Guardians of the Tooth Cup.” Signs will be posted throughout Camp, to educate our campers and counselors about the Tooth Cup, and this summer campers and counselors will learn more about the “Legend of the Tooth Cup.” And we can certainly ad the Tooth Cup to the list of spectacular wildlife that surrounds Everwood Day Camp. Pretty cool, huh!
