The CIT schedule is incredibly dynamic with variation in the schedule everyday! However, an Typical day may include:
Periods 1-3: Skills & Services
Personal, professional, and social skill-building sessions!
Periods 4-7: Internship Groups
A group of campers and staff from members to work with for a week at a time!
Period 8: Free swim or free play
Daily downtime with friends to chat or play games!
A highlight of each week for CITs is Thursday, with all of periods 1-7 spent in internship groups. This experience will expose CITs to the full cadence of the schedule as a counselor, while giving them extra time with beloved campers!
Starting in the second half of the summer there is also a weekly graduation ceremony for CITs celebrating the end of their time as a camper.
Each week includes surprise bonus programming often inspired by pop-culture, with inspiration from cooking shows and reality television!
