The LIT schedule is incredibly dynamic with some variation in the schedule everyday! However, a typical day tends to be:
Periods 1-2: Skills & Services Personal, professional, and social skill-building sessions!
Periods 3, 5, & 7: Elective Periods Choice based activity periods where campers go each day of the week to hone a skill or enjoy a pastime – options include sports, STEM, art, and nature activities!
Period 4: Lunch with Peers LITs and Senior campers gather together each day to eat, chat, and play!
Period 6: Special Event Everyday there is a specially themed activity; Such as Tug-of-War in Jello, Pajama Prom, and days where camp is transformed into a water park!
Period 8: Free swim or free play Daily downtime with friends to chat or play games!
Each session LITs will be given the option to spend a few periods in mini-internship groups. This experience will expose LITs to the responsibilities of being a CIT, while giving them time to form relationships with younger campers!
Each week includes surprise bonus programming just for LITs often inspired by pop-culture, with inspiration drawn from everything from cooking shows to reality television!
